Angkor Wat - what is it I think I don't need to explain - I believe that everyone who is participating in TE knows it, and if not, one can easily find this information.
I will only add that it's in general quite crowded place, lots of foreign tourists and locals trying to sell them things.
For me it was a big dissapoitment, so I was especially happy when I finally found some calm, forgotten place here - some old city gate - only here man can feel the power of this place.

Antoni, what a great photo. I have to admit that this reminds me of
Angkor Wat much more that the typical temple pictures. This is how I remember my visit there, early morning, empty place, jungle and ruines all around. L.

a lovely photo and a good note.
Your right, at the main places, you're always disturbed. But we also found some quiet places.
We walked for 2 hours through the jungle and found so many silent and wonderful places.
Thanks for sharing your motive, you bring me nice memories, thanks

So how nice, Angkor without tourists. i had to get up really early to find that. Good use of natural lighting and well composed.

This is postcard perfect. I love the serenity in this shot, and I think the people on the bike add the right human touch. I love the dappled sunlight coming through the trees, and the detail in the leaves. The exposure really is spot on. Congratulations!

Your capture with the bike made my day.
I knew I am living, because the world is living.
Thank you for posting such a big surprised compo.

This is the real portrait of "the hidden beauty" of Angkor.
This is "live".
I wish I am there, with you as you shot the picture. I want to wait until they stop, get off the bike, cross the gate, and vanish into the silence of the wat.
Thank you, my friend!

Wow! This photo is absolutely amazing. Easily the best shot I've seen today, if not the whole week. Wonderful light, subject and composure... and nice and sharp too. Truly brilliant.
