Another view of the Prasat Kravan temple located in the ancient Angkor Wat complex. This was built as a Hindu temple with many depictions of Vishnu in the form of bas reliefs in the interiors of the five temples. It is reported as being built in 921 AD. This temple is unique in being built almost entirely from brick. This site underwent extensive restoration during the 1960's.
The area that I am standing on when I photographed this is a raised foundation for a larger building that is thought to have been a library. It may have been constructed mostly from wood as little remains of this structure today.

A very nice sharp image you have from cambodia. a lot of time we see pictures of Angkor, and less on other small ones. you did a very nice job here in making it look good with pleasant light. Ｉknow that it is not easy to controle the light, esp while you visit the temple using the day time with too much sunshine. Well done. Sothy

Cool Job David!
Now I can see your hand here.
Is that a stain in your sensor or my screen? (middle of the sky, just on top of centre of ruins)
