On the way out to the village of Kompong Phluk, a village on stilts well out into the lake there is an isolated building sitting beside the main channel. This was early in the dry season so the water still had a long way to go down which would leave the building high above the water. At the peak of the wet season water would have been lapping the top of the stairs.
All the vegetation that you can see is growing in deep water.

The picture aptly describes a seasonal phenomenon interesting. The tree and the house are nicely placed in the photo. Light, natural colors and sharpness are good. Bravo.
Have a nice day

Hi Ian !!
it is interesting to read your note and I also find surprising the style of the house, it looks very european in an area covered by water !!
Nice picture with vivid colours.

It is incredible for us to think about a completely different lifestyle...
Very well composed with the tree and some branches in the foreground. Great contrast and colors,
