I would like to share with you one more picture from TONLE SAP LAKE, Cambodia - the floating village of Kampong Phluk.
During our visit, we were really lucky to see the local team training for the boat racing competition. I really liked the atmosphere and the whole village supporting the team, while they were practicing on the main "road" between the floating houses. No special dresses, no special food and drink, just the maximum enthusiasm ...
For further travel information about this floating village, please see also my previous posting.
Village of Kampong Phluk is still not frequently visited by tourists but if you are around ... I would strongly suggest to do so. Beautiful experience.

Excellent way of framing.
I like seeing the effort in the rowers faces and in their bodies. Great effect with the drops of water.
Best regards. Grazyna.

As a retired oarsman (I was the stroke of my university crew), and the father of a retired oarsman (my son was also the stroke of his university crew) i love this shot. Ours were 8-man shells with coxwain. We had to row in absolute unison. This seemingly chaotic melange of rowers also has wonderful harmony. Otherwise, they would clobber each other. Superb action shot. I will share this with my son. I am now inspired to post some crew races.
