My FIRST submission after 3 weeks travelling. I am really glad to see a lot of beautiful pictures here again and catch-up ...
My FIRST picture is from TONLE SAP LAKE - The largest fresh water lake of Southeast Asia (floating village of Kampong Phluk).
Lakes especially the large ones have the power to influence the life style of the people who live around it by giving them food, water and transportation. But few lakes have influenced the life of almost three million people to such a great magnitude like Lake Tonle Sap located right at the heart of Cambodia.
Surrounding the lake are numerous villages as the lake’s water level varies these villages live in stilted houses (houses that are built on large poles up to 10 meters in height). Kampong Phluk is a cluster of three villages surrounded by mangrove forests; it has a population of around 3000 people and can be accessed from Siem Reap.
Village of Kampong Phluk is still not frequently visited by tourists but if you are around ... I would strongly suggest to do so. Beautiful.

A stunningly beautiful picture capturing these children in an excellent position. The boat behind provides an excellent back drop preventing the viewer from being distracted by anything in the distance. I am keen to travel to Cambodia next year so I found you note really helpful.

Have a nice WE

You've captured the young mariners beautifully, with the colors and resolution in perfect order. I can almost hear the sounds of the water and paddle in this close-up shot. Warm regards,

a typical, but an excellent daily life shot from South East Asia. Nice composition and technically flawless. The slightly blurred boat in the background is a bonus. Congrats!

I missed this one! So beautifully done in every aspect! Gorgeous expressions, in warm magic light, and perect clarity. Top notch work, and very endearing. Warm regards,

This is a good one, Zuzana.
The colours of the boat in the background are essential here. They are placed perfectly. Composition and colours are great. Maybe a wide format with some more room to the left could have been even better?
The girl in the back looks a bit disinterested, maybe if you had taken a few shots in succession, you might have gotten one with a more appealing expression. Not that the expression is that bad, but it could have been better.
Good shot anyway. Even with the remarks I mentioned above, I do like it as it is too.
