Photographer’s Note
Beautiful carvings can be seen on the Terrace of the Leper King. Located north of the Terrace of Elephants on one side of the Royal Plaza, it stands 22 feet high. On top of it there is a mysterious statue, thought to be of Siva or of Yasovarman, the builder of the first city of Angkor. There is a legend that he died of leprosy and this statue was later carved in his memory. Hence the name, Terrace of the Leper King.
Post Production: Cropping, and frame added.
I hope you like it,

Hi Dan
A great angle on the carvings you have here! The colours are warm and rich. Good DOF and the detail on the individual carvings in the foreground is excellent. Well done.

Hi Dan,
I must say, you have a really good perspective for these photos, because with the angle of shot that you choose, you force the viewer's attention onto exactly what you want them to concentrate on. You have been very successful on this technique in your photos, including this one.
The exposure is also pretty good.
thanks
and regards,

I love the way you have captured the actual colors of the stone so well. And the details are excellent too.
