Photographer’s Note
This is one of the favorite features of my visit to Angkor and Cambodia - the Apsaras.
Incidentally, "Apsara" is a Sanskrit word which means the same in the Khmer language. An Apsara would be an angel, or a divine goddess, or equivalent to that.
When you see a traditional dance recital in Cambodia, you notice that a woman's attire would be exactly what this Apsara is wearing, including the crown.
This particular Apsara is my favorite mainly because of its intact state, as compared to the other sadly damaged ones.

Hi Anuradha,
Nice framing of this beatyfull image. It's like a gift box. She has very nice features as you said. I hope one day I'll be able to see that for myself I Angkor is one of the places I "MUST" visit before I die!

Hi Anuradha. In this shot, you make your picture look like a piece of art. Good straight shot, sharp and clear and the framing makes it complete. Good choice of colour for the frame by the way.

Nice shot. I especially like the dark-light contrast. That makes the shot more interesting. Is this art work this narrow or you cropped it? TFS.
