Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken at my former university. As I finished lunch and came up to my office, it was about to be raining. The sky in one part of the city was so dark which gave me a chance to capture its beauty. Luckily I had my camera with me which I rarely bring with me for almost 2 months. So yes I was lucky.
Note for workshop: cropped, and darkened the upper sky a little bit to gain better contrast.

You were very luck, being able to photograph the downpour. The light is excellent and the colours superb. I would have cropped or cloned the tower as it distracts a bit. Otherwise, it is very well done picture.

Hello Sothy,
You must be very busy nowadays since I don't see you often around here. Excellent shot with the rain pouring over the city. The dark clouds add a nice dramatic effect to the overall image. Coolours and sharpnes look great. Thanks Sothy.

Hi Sothy,
The advantage of being there in the rainy season, seeing this spectacular rainshowers. No time to find the best spot, but at least we get a perfect impression on the heavy cloud dropping his water. love the brighter spot on the left, great contrast...

Dear friend, cleverness is often rewarded by the fortune. Rare and fantastic image, with a good definition of the details, understood the rain that falls on the river. Good job.
Ciao
Paolo.

Hi Sothy,
An impressive photo!
The contrast between the light and the shower is excellent and I also like this central part very colored with the houses which creates a beautiful break.
Congratulations

Hello Sothy, a vegetation provided well to the foreground and a water court, it is for me a pov ideal like line of prospect, but what attracts the glance and creates the strong point of the image it is this sky of apocalypse, one feels that the rain will fall, beautiful environment and beautiful opportunity of having within reach installs it, precisely after two months of abstinence, sincerely ................Bonjour Sothy, une végétation bien fournie au premier plan et un cour d’eau, c’est pour moi un pov idéale comme ligne de perspective, mais ce qui attire le regard et crée le point fort de l’image c’est ce ciel d’apocalypse, l’on ressent que la pluie va tomber, belle ambiance et belle opportunité d’avoir l’appareille à portée de main, justement après deux mois d’abstinence, bien amicalement

Hello Sothy,
I guess I critiqued the "left half" of this scene in your second in this series. It's a remarkable sky, and you've captured it perfectly.
By this time next year you will be "Dr. Eng." Good luck with your work,
Warm regards,
Bulent
