New Year's Day saw me driving across the country from Phnom Penh to Koh Kong. If I'd gone about 1 km further I would have been in Thailand.
There were two objectives for this trip, a visit to Safari World and seeing some waterfalls. This was the first stop.
I haven't decided whether Safari World is really a zoo or an operation that houses animals for entertainment. On arrival we were urged not to linger at the animals, but to get to the first show (birds) which was already in progress. After that we just had time to get to the orang-utan boxing show followed by the crocodile show and then the dolphin show. Afterwards the staff were surprised when my friends and I wanted to see the animals rather than exit the park like the other visitors.
This golden dragon lives in two fountains and is the first thing you see once through the gates.
