Returning from my second trip to Siem Reap I used the Prek Kdam Ferry to get from NR 6 to NR 5. There were a couple of boys playing in the Tonlé Sap River near the ferry landing. As the boat pulled away, one boy climbed onto one of the wires that lift the ramp while the other just clung to it to be towed through the water. They were having fun, but the lifting of the ramp or a manoeuver by the ferry could have seriously injured one or both of them.
Age sees danger, boys see fun!
