Beautiful shot. Sharp with nice range of tone. The tilt work very nicely on this composition. Too bad about the toes though.

Very nice expression on the man and good diagonal composition. The B/W works well. too bad the horizon is so tilted and the sky is white. Both can fixed in pp. I'll give it a try. You can't do anything about the sky in the camera (unless you have a graduated neutral denisity filter.)But next time, do try to look at the horizon before clicking the shutter.

Horizon line must be leveled? not always. i like the photo.

Don't care about the toes. You could have done better with your B&W tones IMO (a bit flat, not enough contrast and poor range of greys). Good composition though. I still like it.

Never mind the toes, great angle and pose. As Eva says, not much to do about the sky, but since you fill the frame so well with the subject, can be overlooked. Pts tomorrow.

Dynamic composition, even w/horizon tilted. Gives me some ideas for my pix. Great expression of the rower, so I really didn't notice the toe cutoff. I like the tones of the person & his clothes.
