| Wat Chakarat is a small temple outside Muong Roessei, in Western Cabodia, just off HW 5. While not a temple of any great significance to many outside the local population, I went on a mission to find it because it is where the parents of a good friend of mine were sent during the Khmer Rouge regime. They escaped from this area to Thailand and ultimately, the US, where the settled and where I met their son in college. |
