Called the 'ais kacang' (literally "ice and nuts or beans ice"), machine, one can still find such machines in Cambodia, but which may be considered as a 'antique' in other parts of Asia.

The seller will manually turn the wheel at the right side of the machine to produce shaved ice to make this dessert, which is primarily ice served with sweet flavoured syrup, jelly, nuts and red beans.

Seeing it at the Khmer roadside stalls reminds me of my childhood days..
