[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was going through my hard drive to do some spring cleaning as it is slowly getting overloaded when I came across this shot which I have hesitated to post earlier. After much deliberation I thought I would hear what you have to say on this.
This shot was taken during a Chinese acrobatic show at the Berakas Indoor Stadium here in Bandar Seri Begawan. I though this would be a good time to try out an area which I am not very familiar with. I must admit that this session did show me some weaknesses as most of the shots did not turn out very well and I have learned from it since then.
I was sitting up on the terrace and had to use my zoom to the maximum. The ISO setting was 200 and I adjusted my EV stop to -1.33 so as to get a slightly faster speed. The flash was left idle.

Hi Aloysius,
Well composed and presented in the large format. There is good balance (no pun intended!) with the two acrobats on the left side and the green lights on the other. My only criticism is the overexposure on the right. Otherwise, the shot is very successful and original. Well done.

Hi Aloysius, With your 1/25 second exposure, it is clear that the actress was doing a great job to stabilize her self. Nice PoV and excellent composition to catch the right moment. Nice light effect and beautiful contrast. Well done.

Hi Aloysius,
This original picture is almost equal graceful as the dancers. Excellent balance in the composition with the dancers and the fierce green light.
groet Rob

Hej Aloysius,
Good picture with a nice and attractive green colour. I like the position of the dancers too. Really good work!

Lars

Hello ALoysius
Rally nice sylphony of colours
I like the way different colours liven up the photo
regards
Daniel

Hi Aloysius. I like this and it's also entirely different than what we're used to seeing on TE. The neon colors look great. You caught them in a challenging pose. I don't think I could do that! tfs Aloysius.

Hi Aloysius,
I like the composition, there is good balance with the two acrobats on the left side and the green lights, also the diagonal lines care for a lovely addition.
Thanks a lot,
John.

I really enjoy this green flashy light with these improbable classical dancers... Funny composition and good realisation (for the colors especially).

Well Aloysius I am glad you posted this photo. The lighting is incredible and it looks like a huge round ball with spots all over. The sourroundings looks surreal in a way and I am sure it befits the dance!

Hello Aloysius!
Very good performance with the dancing lights!
Great composed!
I like it!
Greetings!

This is a very eye-catching composition, Aloysius - well framed and interesting light. I would have perhaps tried pushing the ISO a little higher to get more sharpness into the acrobats, even if this would have been at the expense of some noise. Cheers . . . David
