Photographer’s Note
Kampung Ayer (Water Village)is very important part of Bandar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei. It comprises of 28 quarters where live about 30.000 people. Here, the village's centuries-old web of homes, markets, mosques, schools, medical clinics and police and fire stations hovers on stilts over the shallows of the Brunei River. Even today, water taxis are the most efficient and popular means of negotiating the Kampung's labyrinthine waterways. All buildings are connected by wooden walkways that enable their inhabitants normal life.

Witaj Macieju
Zdjęcie z Państwa do którego niewielu dociera :-)
Bardzo dobre jakościowo zdjęcie. Kompozycja niczego sobie ...
Brakuje tylko jakiegoś wypełnienia, najlepiej chyba dwunożnego :-)
Pozdrawiam

Hello Maciej,
Interesting descriptive photo. Another good aspect of it is the contrast between the dramatic sky and the sunny foreground. Claude.

Hello Mariej
A very informative photo. Good pov as it really does show the way of life in this water village. As for the water colour it has a similarity with the Brisbane River. Tfs, Marlene

Czesc Maciej,
