Brunei has a lot of magnificent mosques. This is definitely the most prominent of all.
With its gold metallic dome and perfect lighting, it's the must-capture for tourists in Brunei.
This shot was taken without a tripod (a very daunting task indeed, for a slow shutter)

You did good in getting this Ewan. The contrasting images between reality and its reflection, which has "better" exposure, makes this a graphism instead of just a tourist perfect postcard. You have a good camera by the way. And thank you for your comment Ewan. Maybe,I am looking for my own Puteri. Wassalam.

A magnificent shoot, perfect lighting. A golden mosque, wow! A mosque is a garden of heaven, right?

It is indeed a very nic shot. To bad you did not have your tripod with you. With a bit longer exposure (3 sec) you get nice starshaped lights. Great capture!

What a great shot. Lovely micing of reflection. Very well done to manage this so well with no tripod.

Hi Ewan, good shot but sorry I can't give you 2 points. It seems that the exposure is not correct. It needs slower exposure time, I guess. The image is not in sharp focus maybe because of ISO setting.
Keep up your good work.

you from UMS?
thank you for your comment on my picture.
i really admire this picture, the symmetry between the mosque, the boat and their reflection was captured beautifully. and it is crystal clear despite you using no tripod. well done!

I think the exposure time is just a fraction to long, but It is a very good composition, with the reflection and all...
