Photographer’s Note
8.27 a.m.- So far I have not posted any shots showing a tilt in the composition so I am giving it a try.
Tasik Lama (Old Lake) is only a 5 – 10 minutes walk from Sheraton Utama Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan. It’s rare to be able to enjoy a waterfall right in the heart of town. There is a lake further above the fall which is used as a reservoir for the town’s water supply. The surrounding area provided interesting landscape and the hills give good opportunities for hill climbing, jogging or just walking. It is slowly becoming a busy place especially in the afternoon as the government is encouraging its citizen to be more physically active. This shot was taken in the morning after a heavy downpour the previous night. You can see another shot in WS showing a couple of admirers.
I will be taking a week's break from tomorrow and hope to come back with some new shots.

Hi Aloysius, A nice shot of the water fall and its environment. Comparing with the original and the one in WS, I like the one in the WS better for the classical way of layout and good to include visitors for the size reference. Nice clear shot to both of them, Well done.

Hej Aloysius,
The tilt in combination with the waterfall works well here I think. I like the composition too as well as the colours. Good work!

Hi Aloysius. Honestly I could go either way with the effect. It doesn't make the shot for me nor does it detract. It would be nice if you had a tripod and a long exposure. Good one Aloysius.

Hi Aloysius.
I think the waterfall is a little tilted :)
That improves the composition but not the reliability of the picture.

Hi Aloysius,
Your tilt experience worked really very nice, since you chose wisely the elements to compose. The waterfal, the tree and the little bridge fit very well on your composition. Have fun in your break. Cheers.

I'm not sure the titl was really necessary but I like the place, the green humide atmosphere, as we find in Asia. I wish I couls smell the place. Thanks for that.

Hi Aloysius
Nice PoV. The angle that been slanted also provided a different look rather than a "point-to-shoot" scene.
A well captured shot with pretty cool composition.
Simply image but a tantalising one.
Cheers and good day.
