Canopy of Lights Photo

Photographer’s Note

8.29p.m. - This wonderful section of Tutong Road is just in front of the Palace. After taking the shot that you just saw on my last post I looked to the left and found this canopy of lights interesting. I decided to use a longer exposure so that I would have the red streaks of light from the rear light of passing cars to add more colours into my composition. It’s quite an experience driving through this canopy.

A very fine capture of this impressive canopy of light - Its almost like x-mass streets here in December - but this one better - I like the effect of the tail light - thanks for sharing this good job.

Another beautifully delicate composition! Great exposure - I think the streaks from the cars add an interesting feature and help lead the eye through the canopy of lights above.

A scene that canoot be seen everyday. All these lit serial lights does give a look of a specially lit up canopy. A superb capture with nice POV. the organizers would have taken great troubles to get to this wonderful effect. What was the occasion? It is good that you had your camera handy...:) I should be carrying my camera with me too...always.

Wow! What a powerful composition. This is an astounding night shot, with the coloured canopy of lights overhanging the roadway. As your note indicates, it must be quite an experience driving it. I like you perfect exposure settings here. The scene is vivid without being gaudy. Very well captured, Aloysius.
