Photographer’s Note
This is the corridor leading to the Poolside Restaurant at the Empire Hotel. I saw those little decorative lights and immediately recalled a song which I used to hear long ago. Then there is this famous painting by Van Gogh. So I thought I will give my version of the same title.
I must again thank my TE friends for their valuable suggestions on POV.
PP – Cropped to get the square format and adjusted the levels slightly.

A well composed night scene, with good control of lighting and excellent colours. Good symmetry with the wicker objects lining both sides of the walkway. A good capture, well executed.

Well I can see that these lights are the same that we have in Canada for Christmas. But my goodness dear there must be thousands of strings on this structure. This is a nice phooto. Great stuff showing all the details of the beams lit up like this. Very nice mood it creates as well. great job Aloysius.

Hi Aloysius, A very nice capture of the special star pathway. The lights on the roof provide a special environment and effect. A nice long exposure night shot. A nice and clear image. A well composed picture.

Yes indeed, It's a stary corridor !! Very impressive night shot with excellent light management. The slow shutter speed gives you the propper light and motion with the blur silhouettes. Very nice work Aloysius !!

Hi Aloysius
Brilliant night shot but I think the too many light bulbs have created grain to the shot.
Well done.

A very fine capture - I like the use of vanishing point - the starry "sky" gives a fine light and a good atmosphere - the sight of people a fine extra element - thanks Aloysius.

H iAloysius,
That's what I'd call a shining perspective, all these lamps on the roof bring an interesting light onto the corridor, I like too the red glowing effect from the sides and bottom.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Aloysius
I like the monochromatic, warm orange / red colors, of this image. The stars are well seen & captured, & the light levels well managed. Bagus sekali!

Excellent night shot with the lights and also the figures just having a little bit of movement.
