Fishermen's Gears Photo

Photographer’s Note

Here’s a shot to show the fishermen’s boat and his gears. They are simple but you can also see their innovation. The containers are used as floats and markers. I guess they must have picked up the call by environmentalists to recycle. They are not big time fishermen. Their methods are still traditional and their earnings are just enough to keep them going and to support their family.

Aloysius, it's just a riot of colors, and you caught them. What a wonderful shot, and the exposure is spot-on to bring out these colors. Way to go!

As usual, I enjoy your photojournalism capture of this place in the world. I like the photo, but the boat is a little too bright. I'll do a workshop to show you how this can be corrected with a graduated neutral density technique
