Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken at 8.30a.m.and the ladies are having a chat after preparing breakfast for their husbands who left for work. The houses are built very close to each other and the relationship between the dwellers is usually good and harmonious. We seldom hear of fights or serious crime committed here. The usual disagreements are among teenagers from different villages who will challenge each other once in a while, but nothing very serious like gang fights as in other places.
The steps seen here are for the people to go down to their boats below the house. Children as young as 5 or 6 years old are already trained to use these steps. I have seen a man carrying a CPU on one hand and bag on the other climbing up these steps without holding. It is a good balancing act and I salute him for his skill.

I like this "daily life" very realistic.
Fell framed, and showing a good moment.
Very intimate...
