Photographer's Note
This is in northwestern Bhutan, looking towards the Chinese (Tibetan) border. The snow-clad peak is the Jhomolhari (7314 m), situated right on the border.
A scan from a Kodachrome slide.

Nice image with a good perspective and pov. the lights and colours are managed well and the image has overall impact. I like the way its been composed and presented. The tones are textures are well used along with the depth of the canvass.

Hej Gert,
What a beautiful composition. I belive the slide must be very good. The green valley in contrast to the suger top is essential to the impression!

Hej Gert,
A fine picture from an unbelievably beautiful landscape. The white peak looks almost artificial. The sky is a bit grainy, as with many scans but I made a WS, softened it with NeatImage. Have a look!

Hej Gert
Its unbeliveble white, could almost be a sharp edged cloud if it hadn't been in Bhutan.

Hej Gert,
Otroligt vackert, nästan onödigt vackert. Fast det är ju svårt att tro att det är ett berg där bak, det ser nästan ut som en ditmonterad sockertopp.

Hi Gert,
superb composition and fantastic light. The white peak of Jomolhari looks amazing in surrounfdings of wooded slopes. I wasn,t so lucky as you, because when I was in Paro the peak was covered by dense clouds. Well done.
Best regards,
Andrzej
