Photographer’s Note
A stall at the weekend market in Thimphu. A majority of the stalls are for vegetables and produce, but there is also freshly slaughtered meat, daily necessities, and even a section with souvenirs for the tourists. The chilis are grown everywhere, and are eaten with most dishes. They are also a major ingredient in Bhutan's national dish, and incredibly hot. The bluish tint is due to the tarp that covers the space between stalls, to keep out the sun or rain.
