Traditional outfit
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| According to Bhutanese law, women should wear a traditional dress, called the kira, which is clipped at one shoulder and tied at the waist. An accompaniment to the kira is a long-sleeved blouse, the toego, which is worn underneath the outer layer. Social status and class determine the texture, colours, and decorations that embellish the garments. |

hi jorge,
very nice image picturing this traditional outfit: lovely colors and use of lights.
well seen and composed; thanks for the informative note, too!
tfs and have a great day,
dora
A very simple pose from her, but it's really very charming and pretty. It's also a great background for her, being framed in the window as she is. Very nicely done.
A beautiful example of Bhutanese tradition in a beautiful set picture. Also very good note.
