Photographer’s Note

My first hiking trip in Thimpu, and I thought it's a good hike. (the local tour manager told me to wait for Tiger's Nest ...... )

No photography is allowed in the monastery, so i can't show you how amazing it is.

The usual prayer wheels lined the monastery, and as i will notice as i progress through the journey, the monasteries tend to be located in secluded mountain tops (or very near), and right at the edges of the mountains.

Weather was splendid and the hike was really pleasant!

This picture definitely deserves more attention, the composition and POV are - as far as I am concerned - perfect, the little flags are so tipically Bhutan, the forest make a great impression, the lighting is superb on the forest in particular and on the upper right corner (clouds), it creates a certain contrast with the rest of the upper corner.

A great photo.
