Photographer’s Note

It is the last sunset of 2005. Taken from the Kharbandi Monastery near Phuntsholing, the giant tree with it's leafless branches is what attracted me.

Hello Sabyasachi,
Though sunset scenes are common, but this one attracts me due to the silhouette of the big tree with numerous branches. You capture it well and not to mention the beautiful colour of the setting sun and the sky. TFS>

Amazing shot. Very nice composition. The branches of the tree are very sharp, which works very effective in this picture.
Good POV.
The horizon is a bit slanting however.
Impressive, more of these please :-)

I love these photos of the sunset against branches. You caught the sun at the perfect point, and the exposure is great, allowing us to see just a hint of the clouds.

If you didn't already, you might think about a vertical shot as well, to capture the tree tops.
