[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a Buddhist monk performing the two-hour long Black Cat Dance at the start of an annual festival of dance and story telling. The festival lasts all day, and the costumes are wonderful, as you can see.
The festival is held all over Bhutan at a date decided by the local astrologer; however, one of them got the date wrong so we got to see two festivals on different days!

Critiques [Translate]

Hello Alan,
I saw you added this photo to one of my themes, so please allow me to write a critique. :-) I do like the very colorful costume, and the way you included another dancer from behind in the blurred background. It's too bad the position of the sun left the monk's face in the shadows, but it is still a nice capture. You have a nice gallery, too. :-)
