I met this woman on a street in Jakar town in central Bhutan. It was a brief encounter, no time to move her away from the strong sunshine or to find a better backgound. Judging from her clothes she probably belongs to an ethnic minority group, maybe the Bumthap which is a small group in this area.

Hej Gert,
Very intense colours and obviously a very good slide. The scan is also very good. An interesting portrait of this woman, maybe someone in Bhutan sees this and show her the picture.

Sometimes there's a true sorrow of not speaking local language.
just by her look it's seems to be oceans of silent knowledge that no one from our of the word ever would take part of.
Any way you manage to get something of that wisdom on your image.
