Walking down Main Street
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Two monks walking down the main street of Jakar town in Bumthang district of central Bhutan. There is a wind-swept "Wild West" atmosphere about the low buildings with their characteristic architecture. But although there actually are a few bars in town, it's a very quiet and peaceful place.

Hello Gert
Not so many people has the opportunity to go to Buthan and it is nice to see some of the architectural characteristic of this country which I imagine is a beautiful one! The calm atmosphere is well conveyed with these two monks walking in the street. Just for fun, I've done a small ws, hoping you don't mind.
Cheers

Hej Gert,
There is a very special architecture in Bhutan, and here you show another example of this. Really a fascinating house. The colour of the monks is very fine in this environment.
