These kids, perched on a tree limb, were watching the harvesting of fish from flooded rice fields...until the funny photographer appeared out of nowhere. How amusing!

Hi,
I'm really interested in the color version of this photo. The B&W is very dark here and this picture somehow seems a lot like post war pictures from the second world war. The kids seem happy enough, but quite thin, thus they look a bit like war victims. I'm not sure if that was what you were trying for. I wonder if they would look a little more "normal" in color. Still, a very cute picture. So nice that you managed to capture the same expression on all of their faces.

Hi Animesh,
Wonderful group portrait. Arrangement on that tree trunk is just a start. It's the angle that makes this special. Efficient diagonal. Kids in the foreground get more space, but still this gives feeling that everyone is treated equally. Water background give good contrast to darkish faces.

As usual, fine point of view and composition. But the children don't look that much amosed ...
