It was the last day of Biju (new year celebration also known as Boishabi) - the biggest festival of most the indigineous ethnic groups of Bangladesh. Varying among these groups the festival starts on the 13th or 14th or even 15th of April and usually goes on for three days.
We went to the largest Buddhist temple in Rangamati and saw people in amazingly colorful dresses paying their respect to the Lord Buddha. The beautiful architecture of the temple, burning candles, bright blue sky, and the vibrant colors of people - we started shooting at once. After a while I noticed how beautifully the temple was reflected in the windows of another building where people were praying or just sitting there. One window was half opened, I could see the people inside and I liked the composition. So, here it is.

I don't understand why almost no critiques. This is a wonderful composition, must rank as one of your best. Well seen and even better captured. Excellent combination of the reflection and the real view.
btw, is it boishabi or boishaki?

A beautiful one!! It took me a while to understand what I am viewing. Then I understand what it is and appreciate you work very much. Very innovative and original idea.I like your note and I like the information given by you to Sabyasachi regarding Boishabi. I had also the misconception of mixing Boishabi with Boishakhi.
