The beautiful lake of Rangamati (situated in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, South-East of Bangladesh) provides livelihood to a large number of settlers from the plains through fishing, tourism, transportation, and so on.
Though in many places of Bangladesh I have seen fishermen using bamboo structures but never before like these. In the lake every now and then we came across these structures with boats tied to them. The fishermen were standing on these structures to pull their net.
Shot at mid-day from a fast moving engine boat with a 70-300 mm lense (at 300 mm).

Very nice photograph indeed. I like the sharpness in it. The fading background came out very well! Nice take.

this is a very good composition, just short of absolute perfection had you not missed the right end of the boat!
love the way you keep the light shining in the frame.
i wonder how i have missed your shots before! i had always been looking for shots from bangladesh, and remember shots from TE member Arif Haque's fine posts some months back. so keep posting from the wonderful countryside.
