In many regions in Bangladesh, you find the people are not used to seeing travelers. Curious stares are the norm, you have to get used to it.
Travelling at the back of a bus, often meant that most of the passengers at the front of the bus were turned towards us.
This little girl starred at the odd looking people for about three hours.
Despite all atempts I could not get a smile.

Good portrait and perfect position in the frame.
I like here expression and curious eyes.
I had the same situation 10 years ago on my way to Gomateshwara in Shravanabelagola, in a bus with about 20 school girls.
Have a great weekend!

Very attractive portrait. I like the captured moment that turned into this gat catch. Well done, enjoy a fine weekend.

This is a fine and very well timed portrait. The girl's curious look is perfectly captured and the light inside this bus was surprisingly good. She is nicely surrounded by the patterned seat coverings that match her own dress quite well. I remember these staring eyes from a lot of journeys and walks around town, but generally decades ago. Bangladesh was "worse" than most countries 40 years ago, but elsewhere people seem a lot more used to seeing foreigners these days.
