Photographer’s Note

When we were in Bangladesh our most favorite camera broke. We bought a new one that seems never to live up to our expectations... And here, I wish I could get the sharpness better... Still, it is one of my most favorite pictures from Bangladesh, and one of the last one we took there. These kids were comming back from school, and were very shy, when I asked them to pose they ran away. Finally, a man from the village asked them to stop and look in our direction, and they looked just beautiful. I wish I took more pics of them...

très mignonne cette image, les enfants ont l'air vraiment comptents d'être sur la photo. Par contre la netteté est moindre et la cadrage à revoir. Je tente un ws.

Yes the sharpness is an issue, but it still deserves 2 points because of the wonderful subject matter and effort you made to take it and show us! Well done.

Oj, taki wspanialy kadr! Takie wspaniale dzieci! A gdzie ostrosc! Gdyby byla ostrosc to byloby niezwylke urokliwe zdjecie. Powinienem ci dac tylko jeden punkcik. Ale na gwiazdke dostaniesz pod choinke dwa!

you are right- this foto is not so clear..however the composition is excellent especially the capture of the kids smiles seen here so well.

Hi Blanka,
those smiling kids are as beautiful as possible and I agree it is a pity seeing only one capture of them. But better one than none.
With the story behind you have in your note it seems to be a very special memory. So don't care about sharpness here.

Very alive, emotionally sated picture. The truth not absolutely precise, that make despondent a little. But children such cheerful and present, that it is impossible to pass by!

Nice shot! The sharpness is a bit of a problem, but the bright colors and the pose of the children are wonderful. I just love their bare feet and their huge smiles!
