Photographer’s Note

The Jamuna River (Bangla: যমুনা Jomuna) is one of the three main rivers of Bangladesh. It serves as the main branch of Brahmaputra River, which flows through Tibet (China) and India. It flows into the Padma River (Pôdda) near Goalondo. Merged with the Padma (Pôdda), it meets the Meghna River near Chandpur. It then flows into the Bay of Bengal as the Meghna River[1]. The Jamuna was a barrier in establishing a direct road link between capital Dhaka and northern part of Bangladesh better known as Rajshahi Division until 1996, with the completion Jamuna Multi-Purpose Bridge.

this is one of my favorite boat.hand made boat but powerd by motor.i took this picture in rainy season.thats why in the picture,sky was dark and top of the boat is a hand made hood.in the middel of the river makes toomuch current.thats why this kind of boat raid, in side of the river.

Clever composition on a rather dull scenery with the inclusion of brilliant colorful subjects. The tilting horizon gave the impression of the wavy ride on the powerboat.

Bonsoir Nadir,
I like very much this photo of contrasts: contrasts of the colors of clothes and roof of the boat with the sky and the Jamuna to rivet, contrast of this made boat hand, with the propulsion by an engine, and as in all your photos, I like what you make me discover of your country which I do not know but which I learn to know and which I already love.
