Photographer’s Note
I met this little girl when I was visiting a BRAC village school in Hyderabad, Bangladesh. All of the kids had their best clothing on to greet their foreign visitors and had been practising their English skills and a dance for us.
Most of the kids were really excited to have their picture taken. I went around the room because all the kids seemed to be super excited to have that done. This little girl was really shy and hung back.
