Hello Evren,

Original composition, with the man turning his back on the seaside action. Great evening capture with interesting silhouettes in the background.

The grains (noise) seem to be concentrated in the blue of the sky. Because it is not the same on the whole of the shot, I would have considered to even them out.

Wow Evren! A lovely shot of nightfall at the docks. Marvelous color and tonality. Your composition is brilliant and so is the color rendition. The transition from still-bright blue-purple sky on the right to the darkening sky at the left, with delicious 'grain', is fascinating. Love this one.

PS: I am thinking of going for a 5D (or a D300, for which I already have a 28/2 and 105/2.5). Can't decide. What lens was this one taken with?

Amazing atmosphere, color and light. This is a superb photgraph, like a still from a movie. The story of a livlihood, the man relaxing and reflecting on a hard day's work, enjoying that nicotine buzz, wondering what's for dinner.

Hi Evren,
noise ? Looks like nice grain to me, reminiscent of film. Just enough to make the image more powerful and a touch dramatic on the left side. A superb piece of life, almost intimate I'd say, with that man enjoying his rest, waiting for dinner, who knows, the remains of the day in subtle tonalities, the buzz of fishers, still, a great peace comes out of it. Great light management. I love it.

Splendıd study of lıght... and great atmosphere, ıf I were to belıeve your photo, nothıng has changed sınce I was fırst there but ın 1991 all seemed so new ın Sadar Ghat ; maybe not anymore now...
