Photographer’s Note

This is not a picture of any river or sea. This is a picture of a paddy field, which is drown in to the flood water. During summer and the rainy season a major part of Bangladesh goes under water.

People from urban and rural both get effected on it. Flood is the main obstacle of Bangladesh growth. But people of Bangladesh is a real fighter, they do recover the damages by their own.

This picture is taken at June, 2007 flood near by Dhaka.

althow u've written it not a river or sea but could've taken it frm any other positions, frm where it gives a traditional bangladeshi flood look. like; having some marooned objects in the frame, may be. but its good to make people confused of a lake, haor or river or sea. keep shooting.
