A very nice shot for its age. The expression of reluctance and excitement of having a photo taken is so real. The face tells the story of years of hardship. The think the source of ambience in this shot is the focus. I couldnt help doing a workshop.

A portrait with an enormous amount of character. This is really a photo deserving wide recognition, but unfortunately such good pictures on TE are completely forgotten after two days.

En mycket övertygande bild, ett synnerligen fint porträtt av denne man. Undrar om han lever ännu...

First of all;amazing quality for this more than 30 years old one.
Fantastic portrait of this worker with a very interesting face and a strong expression. Many fine details to view at his face and a nice blurred background.

This is an incredible portrait here, so many emotions for the watcher as i am, so exotism and remote, dhaka, i guess this was the only thing i knew from this country that the capital is dhaka, and that they are often under rain and water during moonsoon.
Incredible portrait, tken in 1972, waou !

Hello Gert your photos are amazing and of a documentary value. This one is great for the very expressive face captured very well with a high level of detail. Excellent portrait shot and the out of focus face on the back adds to the impact of the image. Greetings,

Your phoho attracts me and makes me think how easy and good my life is. How thankfull I should be for the life. It is interesting that your picture is not a picture of poverty, but something goes deep inside through the portrait. TFS.
It is so nice to see that we felt exactly the same as in my yangoon street photo. But in all my trip I felt no army pressure on me or on the people. Burmesee people must be so forgiving.

Again extremely impressed by the quality of the scan on this very oldie one. Gee 1972 !
Not only that since this portrait is extremely expressive, razor sharp, colors are perfect and I like the OOF man in the BG over his shoulder
have a nice day
