Photographer’s Note
From the bizarre parading of the parts of the dummies to their assembly and the beginnings of interaction with them of yesterday's picture to a shot where the play has become more intimate and intense - plunged in to absolute darkness the audience is left bewilderingly suspended in its island of raked seating - one by one the performers arrive back on the scene their faces illuminated by small hand held torches...........
There is a wider view of the performance in the workshop.

His face is very intense and surrounded by darkness makes it even more striking - I think that I even prefer the one in the WS but that one I would have cropped in another way (the idea of a non expert of course) - strange stage performance !
Compliments,
Cath.

Hi Kevin,
That's an interesting and very special approach to a sinle eye portrait (almost). You have been working with high ISOs yet your picture is clean of the usual noise ;o)

Hi Kev,
Nice. I like the pictures all together giving a good feel about the play you were watching. I do like how the face just appears out of no where here. No noise visible either, despite the high iso. Well, the main reason to use a 5D ;-P.
Greetings! Dennis

Hi Kev,
shocking portrait! it is really intense and perturbing, in a good sense. What a great capture! TFS, Rafa.
