I am pretty sure that the merchandise on display I captured in this image does not resemble whatever people used to sell and buy in this old market square centuries ago but it still looks interesting and kind of exotic.
The man in the background, the owner of the shop, was standing by the door sipping tea but for him it was not a relaxing afternoon. The business was not going well, I suspect because the high tourist season had not yet started, and he looked a bit stressed out. Fortunately, he did not seem to mind my taking photos of the place for some 20 minutes.
In WS another glimpse at the modern face of Baku, to, once again, as in the previous two posts, show some of the big contrasts in that small country. I am convinced that trendy pizza joint with a catchy slogan (it reads in Azeri, more or less: "our pizza is as good as our ingredients") experiences no problems attracting customers.

Hi Kasia, magnificent and artistic capture from this old market corner, what a class to do this composition with the DOF on the things and the seller in the blurred background! And i like a lot the WS too,a piece of Italy is there too...hhehe....have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Set of utensils is shown nicely. A lot of variety shown by you. Nice pic showing the subject.

nice the view as the presentation of this little snapshot from the market of the Baku, with the owner of the shop to be placed in the scene and to looks so dimly.Excelelnt the details as your informative note from this almost unknown for me country.

To wygląda jak pchli targ, takie ciekawe bibeloty, a te naczynia chyba się wzięły z baśni "Tysiąca i jednej nocy"

Fantastycznie skomponowana scena! Super głębia ostrości oraz osiągnięty poziom detali. Wyjątkowa i oryginalna prezentacja. Brawo!

Zdravo Kasia. Interesting note-20minutes! I wonder if you bought a cilim. As for the pizza sign, it begs the question about the ingredients. A revealing trio of photographs which reflect your roving eye. Pozdrawiam. Klaudio.

This is a bit unusual for you, at least I can't recall any similar photo before in your gallery. But diversity is certainly better than showing the same kind of pictures over and over, like some people do. These items were worth a photo, and I enjoy the view of the shop owner in the background, although out of focus. His presence, and the carpets, give us an idea of his shop.

Nice Street scenery of this giftshop in Baku.
Good idea to keep the backround blurred.
TFS and best regards
