Photographer’s Note
Mount Ararat (5137 m) is the tallest peak in Turkey, but it is also national symbol of Armenia. This pic was taken from Armenia at 4 o'lock in the morning, when I was climbing on Mt. Aragats (4090 m)the tallest peak in this country.
Ararat rises from a flat plain and dominates the skyline of Armenia's capital, Yerevan. Since ancient times Ararat has been revered by the Armenians as their spiritual home and as the home of the gods of the Armenian pantheon.

A nice photo and an interesting note. Thesquare format works well here. The foreground is too dark and the rest could do wit a bit more contrast.

Very nice shot, though a bit noisy. The 4 o'clock light is fantastic. Nice note too.
Best regards,
