I imagine it could be hard work for you to travel to places that are without good amenities of the developing world but on the one hand it provides you with good photography opportunity to see many different aspects of culture and traditions and this can be found in your gallery of travel photos.

And I see here you spared time at night to see city view with fountain and light. A change from your regular posting. 1/3s and sharp :)

Salut Bertrand,
Ce n'est vraiment pas ainsi que j'imaginais Erevan!
Ces jeux d'eau rouges sur fond d'architecture à arcades sont merveilleux.
Cela serait cependant resté peut-être classique si tu n'avais pas insérer ces deux ombres, celle de gauche est particulièrement belle avec des lignes très souples.
Superbe travail!

most shots on TE would be just the lights and its effects...but this one surely stands out for its silhouettes of the men..there is only one if i am not wrong...that case wish there was an isolation against the adjacent patch of darkness..

Bertrand..youve made this composition have the added appeal..good job bro

Les jeux de lumières sont superbes, mais ce qui fait toute la photo c'est plutôt la présence de ces deux ombres: une immobile et l'autre plus dynamique.

super expo, qui doit pas être facile vu les conditions...juste assez lent pour un effet sur les jets d'eau et asez rapide pour saisir cette silhouette nette au premier plan. J'aime beaucoup, bravo.

Bonsoir, Bertrand. Les silhouettes placées sur la droite ouvrent la vue sur les bâtiments éclairés. Ceux-ci se détachent bien sur la nuit noire. Les jets d'eau colorés apportent de jolies touches de couleur. D'un autre côté, ils cachent aussi des détails intéressants, surtout sur la partie gauche de l'image.

Hi Bertrand,

The two silhouettes work very good in here and gives the picture a nice touch, but also smalld etails like the clock on the left part is very nice. colours and expsore are of course also very nice. I did not expected this in Armenia...very nice.

c'est assez rare de voir des photos de nuit dans ta galerie et ici, on peut voir l'heure à laquelle elle a été prise. Des silhouettes bien placées et des jets d'eau colorés pour le plaisir des yeux.

Hello Bertrand,

The 5D show here the queen of the night as camera.
Splendid picture, I like the enlightenment against the fronts.
Nice bend in the river leads the eye gently to the two dark silhouettes to the richt.
Colours are soft and pleasant for look at. TFS.

armenia is so close to turkey, and i am so willing to see it, but unfortunately not been there yet. hopefully, resoultion on the political problems will make it easier for us to visit there.
you made a great capture of the night, architecture and silhouettes. canon quality on night shots is indeed "speaking".
