Photographer’s Note

This monastery complex is called Noravank and it is in the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia.The complex is in a very good harmony with its surrounding rocky hills. Most of the buildings date from 1200s and 1300s.

Interesting place and great picture. I do like Armenian sacral architecture. I was in Ani (Eastern Turkey) and saw there many beautiful churches, but this is also impressive place to see. Tesekkur. maki

Interesting shot here. The architecture is interesting and you captured it well with the tower in foreground balancing the church in the BG.
Nice contrast of colours.

Great shot. You're right, the churches look like they came right out of the adjacent earth. Amazing detail.

bu cektiginiz fotograf harika. Renkler süper, isik ve kontrast mükembel, ve özellikle kompozisyon iyi olmus.
Tarihi yapimlar (özellikle Ermeni veya Güneydogulu mimarileri) ilgimi cok ceker. Solda görünen kilise ne kadar güzel...galiba bu cekimi favorilerime alacam
