Photographer’s Note
Just one of the rocks at Mt. Ughtasar with a great diversity of drawings: wild goat (defenitly the most represented animal here), leopard, humans (a hunter), wolf, snake (?), and some more abstract forms. Remember these date back 4000 to 7000 years !
See my other picture of Mt. Ughtasar for a more extensive note on the site.

Hi Marc,
Interesting that around fifty people looked at the photo and nobody found anything to say about it! The petroglyphs of Armenia are numerous and point to a very detailed marking system developed in the ancient past by people living here. Your shot is a one fine example of that. I remember seeing similar rocks in Sardarabad museum. It should be a marvellous feeling to see them on their original place and to touch them.
This is a great shot.
Thank you for sharing.
