[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My second trip to Lake Sevan, and we hit it at just the right time of day. The old churches are made of a native stone called "dufe", and they're very beautiful. Carved "khachkars" (ornate crosses) adorn the building in random places, and are free-standing ornaments as well.
This particular church couldn't be located in a more beautiful setting.

This is a very beautiful church indeed and your shot succeeds well in reflecting it under a very beautiful, mellow light. Great Armenian comosition with mountains, church and grass...

nice shot, however, I did small workshop to make it give us maximum of its beauty, so check it out ;)

Hello Christina,
another beautiful Armenian church I see; you`re right, the the dufe makes the church more wonderful than it is !
The colours are well, and the contrast, too.
Thanks for sharing - and welcome to Trekearth.com !
