[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Travelling through northern Afghanistan in May 1973 I passed through the small town of Tashkurghan, also known as Khulm. There weren't many cars in this place, but a horse-cart just stopped by my bus.
This is a scan of a Kodachrome slide.

hej Gert,
Some years ago I went in to a second-hand bookshop and found "the illustrated world " in five parts, from the 20's this looks like some of the oilprints in the middle of each part.

Hej Gert,
Which century is this? This looks really ancient. Is that a woman sitting in the carriage? Maybe I think it is a little too dark, I made a WS to see what it would look like a bit lighter. What do you think? There is also a line in the sky that I took away. But apart from those minor remarks I think this is a very fine picture, one of your best from Afghanistan!
