Photographer's Note
The far end is called Cheil Dokhteran means the valley of 40 girls. Situated in Jaghoori (Malistan districts) of Ghazni province of Afghanistan. The picture was taken from the top of mount Green Valley posted earlier. The green point out there is populated mostly by Hazara tribe. Down in the valley there is a Fountain of running water which has healing effect and is really very cold even in mid summer.

Thank you so much for sharing this. Stunning and striking landscape .. I wish the background mountains were less diffuse.
take care,

The area looks pretty much arid, with exception of the small fountain in the lower foreground. That green color of the water is quite special and gives some life to the otherwise pretty dead looking landscape. The background mountains are a little bit lost and I guess it must be dust and possibly some humidity in the air. A circular polarizing filter might have helped here to get those mountains clearer in your image.
Kind Regards, Peter
