On my way from Singapur to Frankfurt we flew over Afghanistan ... miles over miles the landscape of hills and these shadows of the clouds ... these shadows remind me to the Rohrschach Test used by some traditional psychanalysts ...

I just posted one here on TE and one very simillar pic on TE, but it's not the same.

Wonderful aerial view Nino!
excellent quality!
the "wires" on the earth are fantastic, as the colors and the light.
thanks, ciao

Great view.I like it.I like the contrast between the earth and the clouds.Very good colors, light and sharpness.Good job!

Hola Nino: I remember to fly over the same landscape back in 2001... Shadows over a desert land, very metaphoric. I like you post this photo. Thanks.

Miguel

Nice aerial view. Good contrast of colours. I like the shadows of the clouds. Well done!

Very interesting and beautiful - the way the light shows every wrinkle in the land. The shadows of the clouds are also great; it makes this like a piece of abstract art. Well done!

Fantastic landscape. I wonder about the hard conditions of walking and living on the ground ..

It is nice to have clear windows in the airplane.
I like the small green patches in the mostly rown landscape.
Clods ans shadows, even though Black and White actually make this photo more colourfull :)

I like this photo too. I am always surprised when I fly in an airplane at how many people watch movies instead of looking out the windows.

An airplane gives us a perspective view that, until the first balloon flight in 1783, no human had ever seen. And many people today have still not seen it. This photo shows us much about geography, the creation of mountains by earth folding and compression, the structure of cloud, and the considerable height that cumulus cloud can reach. It's a shot full of interest.

Hi Nino
A great shot. A wonderful view. Well POV. Good composition. Thanks for sharing. HUY

Hi Nino,
Was this the test that sowed you some doodles and asked you to say what you thought?
Anyway, nice seeing some photos from afghanistan even if they are taken from a more or less safe distance.
Cheers
Daniel

Wow, it reminds me of that too. The shapes of the clouds but also the shapes of the valleys in the earth. Many interesting lines and shapes here. Hey, very good quality shooting through and airplane window. Overall a very interesting photo.

Hi Nino - the bottom right cloud is too bright, but the rest is perfect, awesomely eroded desolate landscape, very good lighting and shadows.

Guten Tag Nino

I like the clearly visible, radial drainage patterns, in this superb aerial shot. Very good sharpness, considering it was shot through a window. Well done!

Good evening, Nino.
This is a wanderful shot. I know, it's never easy to take a good picture during comercial flights. I like the clear pattern of land erosion and the tiny green areas. The clouds are a bit too bright, but the frame is very nice anyway.
Regards,
Plamen

Ciao Nino, I like your title for this wonderful shot, i gives it a good humourous edge too. The picture is unusual and marvellous, the quality of the shot excellent with its sharpness, colours, and DoF. Wonderful to see the world from above the fluffy clouds...

Ciao Nino,
Bellissima foto. Grazie.

Hi Nino,
Impressive shot with excellent sharpness. Very well done for a shot taken from an airplane. Beatiful colours and contrast. The cloud shadows is really very nice.
Regards,
Ricardo

nice view that you've got there and it looks the different between earth and sky and the contrast for the image...nice photo congrat

and for the reflect cloud in the land it's nice

I just wish it would be easier to go down there... Fantastic picture.
Olivier

Hi Nino !

What a beautiful shot, I do like it !
The view is absolutely amazing !

great pic! I love the shadows of the cloud. It's just a pity that the cloud in the right-bottom corner is very bright.

Hi Nino,
Lol,could be interesting indeed to use landscape photos for a Rohrschach test.Good result for a shot taken out of an airplane window. The graphism is superb.
Greetings,
Hermann

Hi Nino,
