A midday at one of the portals in the yard of the Blue Mosque in the western Afghan city of Herat. It is probably the most beautiful mosque in terms of size, architecture and decorations in Afghanistan.

gr8 pic....very nice color compostion...though it would have gone better with the title..if u had shown some more area exposed to the sun...

Very beautiful mosque. The man leaving it and other resting in its shadows enrich the shot.
